Tmain objective of this course is to produce more talented engineers in the field of electronics & communication engineering. Extra emphasis is given here to teach design, testing and implementation of electronic circuits required for communication related areas.
The Electronics and Communication Engineering Course focuses on electronic subjects like Digital and Micro Electronics, and Communication-engineering subjects like Satellite Communication, Optical Communication and Digital Signal Processing. Students can specialize in advanced communication engineering subjects such as Cellular and Mobile communications, Radar Engineering or applied electronics subjects like Embedded Systems and Biomedical instrumentation.
Students can look forward to placement opportunities in well-known public sector and government companies like ECIL, BSNL, ISRO, NRSA, AIR, DD, Indian Railways, DRDO, NGRI etc., MNC’s specializing in cellular and mobile communications, embedded systems, digital microelectronics, etc., also offer excellent openings. Students interested in going for higher studies to IITs and IISc will have to go through the All India GATE Examination.
